2023 Bath House

Different groups and individuals are running events for us this year but the emphasis is still on quality handmade and local craft and art.

21 April - 21 May Brigantia
See a range of Brigantia's work this spring in the Bath House at RHS Garden Harlow Carr. Brigantia is a group of talented art, craft and design workers who come from a variety of backgrounds but all share a common passion. Go along and help support these talented makers and artists and stay for a stroll around the spring delights of the garden.

25 May - 27 June Lakes, Dales, Moors Art
Explore The Lakes, Dales, Moors Art exhibition at RHS Garden Harlow Carr, showcasing pieces from 30 makers and artists located in Yorkshire and its surrounding area – all working on the theme of summertime and what it means to them.
Makers include jewellery designer Becca Macdonald, who is launching a new collection of work based around flower fossils and printmaker Suzi Thomspon with work that reflects her love of British flora and fauna, plus many more.

1 July - 6 August Art Showcase
This summer in the Bath House at RHS Garden Harlow Carr, you will discover a wealth of local talent at our popular Art Showcase. Not only is there affordable original artwork for your walls and handcrafted decorative art for your home, there is also locally made jewellery as well as gifts for friends and family. We're welcoming along exciting new artists and makers and work by Bath House favourites – so stop by and support some wonderful talent.

10 August - 13 September Summertime Showcase
Discover the Best of British in this summertime showcase exhibition at RHS Garden Harlow Carr, highlighting some of the best makers and artists from the British Isles. Find stunning art and prints by amazing artists such as Kate Lycett, and Julia Ogden, plus many more, and a wonderful selection of handmade products featuring some of the finest craftsmanship – all on show and available to buy.

17 September - 22 October Autumn Craft Fair
Come and enjoy a delightful shopping experience at the Autumn Craft Fair at RHS Garden Harlow Carr, where there is a range of beautifully hand-crafted products to purchase in the Bath House. From original artwork and ceramics to beautifully crafted jewellery, photographic prints, cards, candles, blankets and much more, many of which have been made by local artisan makers and artists.
While on your visit to the garden, enjoy the stunning autumn colours in the gardens, support some wonderful local makers and perhaps enjoy a treat from Betty’s to finish the day off nicely.

26 October - 22 December Handmade Christmas Crafts
Discover a stunning selection of works for the Christmas Crafts display in the Bath House at RHS Garden Harlow Carr. Local talented artists, crafters and designers showcase their Christmas designs and locally handcrafted pieces as part of the display – it's the perfect place to stock up on seasonal treats for family and friends.
